Islamabad: Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb has reaffirmed the government's commitment to maintaining an inclusive and ongoing consultative process with key stakeholders in the business community.
According to Radio Pakistan, while talking to a delegation of the Pakistan Business Council (PBC) in Islamabad, Aurangzeb emphasized the importance of evidence-based policymaking. He highlighted the government's efforts to ensure that policies are shaped through comprehensive dialogue with business leaders and stakeholders.
Aurangzeb informed the delegation that the Tax Policy Office has been relocated from the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) to the Finance Division. This move aims to institutionalize tax policy formulation and strengthen engagement with forums such as the PBC. The minister's statements reflect the government's intent to foster a collaborative environment for addressing economic challenges.
