Attaullah Tarar seeks masses’ support in controlling crimes

Punjab Home Minister Attaullah Tarar has urged citizens to play their due role in controlling crimes in the society.

He stated this while addressing at a news conference along that MPA Malik Ahmed Khan in Lahore on Sunday.

He said crime rate has increased drastically in the society since last three and half years. He said indiscriminate crackdown will be carried out on displaying of arms and zero tolerance policy will be observed on display of weapons during by-election.

He said there is need to amend in law to provide protection to women and children from torture and violence.

Atta Ullah Tarar urged the media to play their due role to save the students from menace of drugs.

On this occasion, Malik Muhammad Ahmed Khan condemned firing incident on PML-N leader Nazir Ahmed Chohan. He said crime incident affects the reputation of elections.
