APHC Calls for Unconditional Release of Incarcerated Kashmiri Leadership

Srinagar: The All Parties Hurriyat Conference has once again called for the unconditional release of incarcerated Kashmiri leadership, asserting that the Modi-led Indian regime is utilizing imprisonment as a tool to suppress dissent in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

According to Radio Pakistan, the demand was made in a statement issued following a meeting of Hurriyat members in Srinagar. APHC spokesman Advocate Abdul Rashid Minhas disclosed details of the meeting, expressing serious concern over the declining health of senior Hurriyat leader Shabbir Ahmed Shah, who is currently suffering from prostate cancer while being held in New Delhi’s Tihar Jail.

Minhas highlighted that leaders such as Massarat Aalam Butt, Muhammad Yasin Malik, and Aasiya Andrabi are being deprived of adequate medical facilities in Indian jails. Additionally, senior APHC leader Agha Syed Hassan Al-Moosvi Al-Safvi issued a statement urging the Indian government to permit Shabbir Shah’s family to accompany him during his critical medical treatment.
