Ambassador Masood lauds humanitarian services by APPNA, Pak diaspora for quake-hit Turkiye

Pakistan’s Ambassador to the United States Masood Khan has lauded Association of Pakistani Descent Physicians of North America (APPNA), and Pakistani diaspora over their humanitarian services for earthquake-hit people of Turkiye.

In his remarks during a Zoom Telethon organized by Pakistani American doctors, he said, APPNA is proactively involved in mobilizing resources to provide relief to the calamity-stricken brothers and sisters in Türkiye.

He said our hearts go out to the people and government of Türkiye, who were hit by one of the deadliest earthquakes in the past one hundred years and one of the biggest natural disasters of our times.

Speaking on the occasion, Turkish Ambassador Hasan Murat Mercan said Pakistan and Turkiye are bonded by inseparable relations of brotherhood and sisterhood.

In his remarks, APPNA President Dr. Arshad Rehan offered sending medical mission to Türkiye to provide medical assistance to the earthquake victims.
