Aleem Khan Welcomes Agreement for M6 Motorway Construction

Islamabad: Minister for Communications, Abdul Aleem Khan, has welcomed the signing of a strategic agreement between the Asian Development Bank and the National Highway Authority for the construction of the M6 Motorway, which will connect Karachi to Sukkur.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Minister congratulated the nation on this landmark achievement, highlighting the importance of connecting Karachi's ports to the northern regions through the M6 Motorway. He stated that this development is a national priority that will unlock new investment opportunities and strengthen the regional trade connectivity of Pakistan.

He further emphasized that the completion of the motorway would revolutionize Pakistan's transport network by facilitating seamless traffic flow from Karachi Port to Peshawar and Gilgit via a continuous motorway system. The project, spanning 306 kilometers with six lanes, is expected to be completed within two years and will feature modern tolling and safety systems.
