Aleem directs to recover occupied land of Forest Dept

Senior Punjab Minister Abdul Aleem Khan has directed to launch a grand operation to recover occupied land of Forest Department in the province.

He was chairing a high level departmental meeting in Lahore on Wednesday, which was also attended by Forest Minister Sibtain Khan.

During the meeting, the Senior Minister was briefed that more than seven thousand acres of Forest Department's land is under illegal occupation in the province.

Senior Minister directed to do maximum plantation in connection with the PTI's first 100 days agenda. He also directed to do concrete planning to extend the area of forests in the province as the present forest land ratio of 3.1 is very concerning.

Abdul Aleem Khan said that Prime Minister Imran Khan wants to see Pakistan a greener country.
