Airlines Announce Baggage and Zamzam Water Policies for Returning Pakistani Hujjaj

Makkah: Airlines have issued clear guidelines on baggage allowance and Zamzam water for Pakistani Hujjaj travelling back to the country.

According to Radio Pakistan, correspondent Asad Ullah Khan reports from Makkah that all passengers traveling on Pakistan International Airlines, Airblue, and Air Sial will be allowed forty kilograms of check-in baggage, packed in two pieces of twenty kilograms each. In addition, seven kilograms of hand baggage is also permitted.

Passengers flying with Saudi Airlines will receive a slightly higher baggage allowance of forty-six kilograms, in two pieces of twenty-three kilograms each, plus seven kilograms of cabin baggage. For Zamzam water, pilgrims flying with PIA, Airblue, Saudi Airline, and Air Sial will receive a sealed five-liter bottle of Zamzam at Pakistani airports on arrival.

Authorities have advised all passengers to pack their luggage strictly according to their airline's policy to avoid inconvenience at airports.
