Islamabad:Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar has announced the establishment of a Seerat Endowment Fund with an initial allocation of 100 million rupees. The announcement was made during the Inaugural Ceremony of the 3rd International Seerat Festival.

According to Radio Pakistan, Ishaq Dar highlighted the significance of the Seerah of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) as a source of guidance for promoting justice, mutual respect, and understanding among nations. He emphasized the importance of instilling these values in the younger generation through education.

Additionally, Ishaq Dar underscored Pakistan's efforts to foster regional peace and build bridges. He also called for adherence to the UN Charter and relevant UN resolutions to address the situation in Palestine and resolve the Jammu and Kashmir dispute.
