Copenhagen:Pakistan and Denmark held the fifth round of Bilateral Political Consultations, focusing on enhancing cooperation in multiple sectors.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Pakistani delegation was led by Additional Secretary for Europe, Ambassador Ayesha Ali, and the Danish delegation was led by State Secretary for Trade and Investments, Ambassador Susanne Hyldelund.

The discussions included a comprehensive review of various aspects of bilateral relations such as political engagement, trade and investment ties, green transition and energy cooperation, people-to-people contacts, consular matters, and multilateral collaboration. Both sides expressed satisfaction with the current positive trajectory of their relations and reaffirmed their commitment to expanding cooperation in areas of mutual interest.

Pakistan acknowledged the continued Danish support through the Green Framework Engagement Agreement and the Strategic Sector Cooperation, highlighting projects like the Faisalabad Wastewater Treatment Plant. Both countries agreed to maintain their momentum in bilateral engagements and coordinate closely on mutual interests.
