Pakistan Condemns Attempted Drone Attack on Makkah, Stands with Saudi Arabia: PM

Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has strongly condemned the attempted drone attack on the Holy Site of Makkah Al-Mukarramah, expressing deep sorrow and anger over the incident.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Prime Minister took to X to express the collective grief and outrage of the Pakistani people over this act. He stated that words cannot fully convey the anguish and sorrow felt by Pakistanis regarding this reprehensible and unforgivable act.

The Prime Minister lauded the Royal Saudi Armed Forces for their vigilant and professional response to the threat. He highlighted their swift action as heroic and commendable.

In his message, Shehbaz Sharif urged all involved parties to exercise restraint and avoid further escalation. He emphasized that the region has endured enough conflict and stressed the importance of dialogue and diplomacy as the only sustainable path to achieving peace.

Reaffirming Pakistan's commitment, the Prime Minister stated that the nation stands firmly with Saudi Arabia in defending its sovereignty and territorial integrity. He emphasized that the security and sanctity of the Haramain Sharifain is a duty cherished by every Pakistani.
