Islamabad: Pakistan and Belgium have agreed to explore new avenues in port development and the blue economy. The agreement was reached during a meeting between Minister for Maritime Affairs Muhammad Junaid Anwar Chaudhry and Belgian Ambassador Charles-Idesbald Van Der Gracht De Rommerswael in Islamabad.

According to Radio Pakistan, the meeting focused on forging stronger institutional linkages between the two countries' maritime sectors. Particular emphasis was placed on maritime education, professional training, port infrastructure, and knowledge sharing. This collaboration aims to enhance the capabilities of both nations in the blue economy sector, fostering sustainable growth and development in maritime activities.
