Lahore: The business community, industrialists, and civil society representatives have largely welcomed the Federal Budget 2026-27, terming it a growth-oriented and people-friendly budget aimed at promoting economic stability and industrial development.
According to Radio Pakistan, President of the Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Faheem-ur-Rehman, expressed optimism about the federal government's budget presentation despite challenging economic conditions. He highlighted that several proposals put forward by the Lahore Chamber have been accepted by the government and its economic team.
Former President of the Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Rehan Naseem Bharara, also acknowledged the tax relief measures announced in the budget. He described the fiscal package as a positive step towards industrial growth and economic expansion.
