Islamabad: Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar has announced that twenty-six Indian-sponsored Khwarij were killed in precise strikes on their hideouts along the Pakistan-Afghanistan border. These actions targeted masterminds and planners associated with Fitna al-Khwarij.
According to Radio Pakistan, Attaullah Tarar shared on his X handle that these strikes were a response to recent terrorist activities in Pakistan. These included a terrorist attack on the Federal Constabulary Post in Musa Dara on June 9, vehicle-borne suicide attacks on a military post in North Waziristan on June 2, and an assault on a Police Station in Bannu on May 9.
Attaullah Tarar highlighted that the operations were based on credible intelligence, allowing for precise and accurate targeting of camps and hideouts. Four significant targets were destroyed, including a training center, a hideout, an ammunition cache, and Marakiz connected to Fitna al-Khwarij Commanders Aleem Khan Khushali and Akhtar Muhammad Jani Khel.
The Information Minister emphasized Pakistan's commitment to maintaining peace and stability in the region while prioritizing the safety and security of its citizens. He reiterated the ongoing Counter Terrorism campaign under the vision "Azm-e-Istehkam," approved by the Federal Apex Committee on the National Action Plan, will persist vigorously to eradicate foreign-sponsored terrorism from the country.
