‘Pur Azm Pakistan’ National Youth Program Launched to Empower Youth

Islamabad: 'Pur Azm Pakistan' national youth program was launched in Islamabad today, aimed at empowering the youth through access to opportunities, skills, and digital pathways for development. Addressing the launching ceremony, Chairman Prime Minister's Youth Programme Rana Mashood Ahmed Khan emphasized the program's goal to engage youth in various fields such as art, culture, science, technology, IT, and sports.

According to Radio Pakistan, Rana Mashood highlighted the government's commitment to equipping the young generation with necessary skills to thrive in the digital age. He unveiled the 'Countries of Destination' program, which targets demanded skills and opportunities for the youth in different countries around the world. This initiative seeks to prepare young Pakistanis for global opportunities, ensuring they are well-equipped to meet international demands.

The chairman also detailed the Digital Youth Hub program, which aims to provide employment and scholarship opportunities for the youth. To date, over 800,000 youngsters have registered on the Hub, illustrating a strong interest and need for such platforms. This initiative underscores the importance of digital literacy and access to resources in fostering youth development.

Additionally, Rana Mashood announced the establishment of Prime Minister Youth Development Centers in around 63 universities, with plans to expand to 103 more universities this year. These centers will serve as vital resources for skill development and career guidance. In collaboration with China, 33 Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) have been signed with different universities to provide state-of-the-art training for the youth, further enhancing their skills and employability in a competitive global market.
