Month-Long Post-Hajj Flight Operation Kicks Off to Repatriate 119,000 Pakistani Pilgrims

Makkah: A month-long post-Hajj flight operation begins today to bring back nearly 119,000 Hujjaj.

According to Radio Pakistan, Pakistan International Airlines, Airblue, Air Sial, and Saudia Airlines will work together to facilitate the safe return of Pakistani Hujjaj. Under the government Hajj scheme, the first flight is set to depart from Jeddah on Sunday night and is expected to arrive in Sialkot early on Monday with 391 pilgrims on board.

On the first day of the operation, a total of 22 flights are scheduled to repatriate 5,237 Hujjaj back to various cities in Pakistan. The plan includes five flights landing in Islamabad, four each in Karachi and Lahore, three each in Multan and Sialkot, two in Faisalabad, and one in Quetta.

The flight operations from Madinah will commence one week after the Jeddah operation begins. The post-Hajj flight operation is planned to continue for an entire month, concluding with the last flight landing in Lahore on the 30th of June.
