Kuwait city: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif engaged in a telephone conversation with Crown Prince of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah Al Khaled Al Hamad Al Mubarak Al Sabah during Eid-ul-Azha. The leaders exchanged greetings and best wishes for the peoples of their respective countries on this occasion.
According to Radio Pakistan, during the conversation, Prime Minister Sharif conveyed his regards to Kuwaiti Amir Sheikh Meshal Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah. The Crown Prince reciprocated with warm greetings from the Amir. The Prime Minister reaffirmed Pakistan's condemnation of attacks on Kuwait and expressed solidarity with the Kuwaiti leadership over the recent losses. He highlighted Pakistan's commitment to restoring peace in the region and acknowledged the support from brotherly countries, including Kuwait.
The Crown Prince appreciated Pakistan's crucial role in regional peace efforts and assured Kuwait's support. Prime Minister Sharif recognized the diplomatic efforts of Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar and Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir in advancing peace talks. The Crown Prince conveyed the Amir's high regard for the Prime Minister and his wishes for Pakistan's success in peace initiatives, expressing a willingness to welcome the Prime Minister to Kuwait.
