Ishaq Dar and Bruno Parrilla Commit to Enhancing Bilateral Ties Between Pakistan and Cuba

New york: Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar met with Foreign Minister of Cuba Bruno Rodr­guez Parrilla on the sidelines of the UN Security Council Open Debate in New York. During this significant meeting, both leaders discussed regional developments and reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthening Pakistan-Cuba relations, while also exploring new avenues for mutually beneficial cooperation.

According to Radio Pakistan, Ishaq Dar expressed his gratitude for Cuba's support to Pakistan during the 2005 earthquake, highlighting the longstanding friendship between the two nations. In response, Bruno Rodr­guez Parrilla appreciated Pakistan's solidarity and assistance during natural disasters that Cuba has experienced.
