Bannu: President Asif Ali Zardari has paid glowing tribute to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police and Counter Terrorism Department for conducting a successful intelligence-based operation against Khawarji terrorists in Bannu.

According to Radio Pakistan, in a statement, he lauded the professionalism and bravery of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police and CTD for killing eight terrorists of Fitna al-Khawarij. The President paid tribute to a police officer who embraced martyrdom while bravely fighting the terrorists.

President Asif Ali Zardari emphasized that the sacrifices of the martyrs are a source of pride for the nation and that the nation will always remember the services of its brave sons. Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has also appreciated the police and Counter Terrorism Department for the successful intelligence-based operation against Khawarij in the jurisdiction of Miryan police station in Bannu.

In a post on his X handle, the Interior Minister lauded the valour and professionalism of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police and CTD for killing eight terrorists of Fitna al-Khawarij. Mohsin Naqvi also paid tributes to the policeman who embraced martyrdom while bravely fighting the terrorists. He expressed heartfelt sympathies and condolences to the family of the martyred policeman.
