Islamabad: Prevailing situation in Iran is of global significance. Higher rate of inflation, suffocation of society and disconnect from the outer world and other factors led to mass protests in Iran. However, all of these factors were result of decades' long international sanctions because international sanctions had cut Iran from the world. Moreover, these sanctions also proved to be lethal for Iranian economy leading to higher inflation. Now US is blaming Iran that Iranian public is denied fundamental rights. Actually, decades' long US sanctions on Iran resulted in disconnection of Iranian people from the world. According to Radio Pakistan, despite harsh US and international curbs, Iran has been successfully maintaining ties with regional countries and trying hard to run its economy. Pakistan has been always promoting peace and coordination in the region and Pakistani diplomacy played key role in averting international backlash on Iran over mass protests. Both Iran and Pakistan are brotherly nations and Ir an was the first country to recognize Pakistan in 1947. State of Pakistan and Pakistan's diplomacy also played key role in the wake of Israeli aggression over Iran last year. Pakistan has been part of international communication of Saudi Arabia, Turkiye and others at Doha to end US and Israeli war on Iran.
