Islamabad: The Ministry of Health is set to introduce a modern Management Information System aimed at improving patient flow and hospital operations. This initiative marks a significant step toward integrating digital solutions in public healthcare facilities. According to Radio Pakistan, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Ministry of Health and Atlantic International Business Network in Islamabad. Minister for Health, Syed Mustafa Kamal, highlighted that the new system would be fully aligned with the national digital health framework, "One Patient - One ID." This integration is expected to enhance the performance of public sector hospitals and streamline patient services. Minister Kamal emphasized that the implementation of this system would not only improve operational efficiency within hospitals but also promote digital health services nationwide. He reaffirmed the government's dedication to enhancing medical facilities in the public health sector, ensuring better healthcare access and services for the population.
