Islamabad: Dry weather is expected in most parts of the country during the next twelve hours. However, cold conditions in hilly areas are expected to prevail during morning and night hours. Districts of Punjab are likely to remain under the influence of smog due to the persistent dry weather and atmospheric pollution. Public has been advised to take precautionary measures. According to Radio Pakistan, the temperature of major cities recorded this morning were as follows: Islamabad at twelve degree centigrade, Lahore nineteen, Karachi twenty-one, Peshawar seventeen, Quetta eight, Gilgit four, Murree nine, and Muzaffarabad ten degree centigrade. The weather forecast for Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir indicates cold and dry conditions in Srinagar, Leh, Pulwama, Anantnag, Shopian, and Baramula, while dry weather is expected in Jammu. Temperature recorded this morning in these areas were: Srinagar, Anantnag, and Shopian at five degree centigrade, Jammu seventeen, Leh minus-one, Pulwama and Baramula four degree centigrade.
