Peshawar: Polling for the third local government by-elections on twelve vacant seats of different categories is currently underway in seven districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Voting commenced at eight in the morning and is scheduled to continue until 4:00 in the evening without any interruptions. According to Radio Pakistan, these by-elections are being conducted to fill twelve vacant seats. The vacancies include positions in general, women, workers, farmers, and reserved categories for youth. The electoral process is part of ongoing efforts to ensure representation across various sectors in the local government framework.
