Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has expressed heartfelt satisfaction over the successful completion of hands-on training by the first batch of approximately 300 Pakistani agriculture graduates in China. These graduates received training in critical areas such as water-saving irrigation, seed production, animal husbandry, agriculture production, and the prevention of post-harvest losses.
According to Radio Pakistan, Sharif took to his X handle to convey his gratitude to the Chinese leadership, the Shaanxi Government, and the two universities involved in this initiative. He also acknowledged the contributions of the Ministry of National Food Security, the Higher Education Commission (HEC), and the Embassy in Beijing for their roles in facilitating this training program.
The Prime Minister highlighted that this batch is part of a broader training program aimed at equipping one thousand Pakistani agriculture graduates with essential skills. This initiative was announced during his visit to China in June of the previous year.
