India Pursuing State-Sponsored Terrorism Against Pakistan: DG ISPR

Islamabad: Director General ISPR Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry has stated that India is actively engaging in state-sponsored terrorism as an official policy against Pakistan.

According to Radio Pakistan, in an interview with Al Jazeera TV, Lieutenant General Chaudhry described India's actions as calculated attempts aimed at destabilizing Pakistan, with a particular focus on the province of Balochistan. He emphasized that the term "Khawarij" is now frequently used within Pakistan's military and media to describe armed groups that attack the state and its institutions. He also clarified that in Islamic principles, only the state holds the authority to declare jihad or armed conflict, highlighting that no individual, group, or organization has that right. He asserted that Fitna al-Khawarij does not align with Islam, humanity, Pakistan, or its cultural traditions.

Lieutenant General Chaudhry further explained that the term "Fitna al-Hindustan" is used to refer to terrorists supported by India, especially those active in Balochistan. He accused India's National Security Advisor Ajit Doval of being the mastermind behind this terror initiative. He also pointed out that India's political leadership has publicly acknowledged its support for terrorist activities in Pakistan.

The Director General ISPR mentioned that several countries, including the United States and Canada, have recognized India's involvement in transnational terrorism.

Regarding Israeli aggression against Iran, Lieutenant General Chaudhry reiterated Pakistan's political and diplomatic support for Iran. He also assured that Pakistan's nuclear program is fully secure, asserting that no country would dare to target it.
