ISLAMABAD: COMSTECH has announced plans to initiate its Expert Service Program, an effort aimed at enhancing technological collaboration among the member states of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC). According to Radio Pakistan, this decision emerged from a recent meeting of the Advisory Committee for the COMSTECH Expert Service Program, led by Coordinator General COMSTECH Dr. M. Iqbal Choudhary. The program's primary objectives are to facilitate the transfer of technical expertise and best practices, strengthen technical capabilities through targeted training and capacity-building initiatives, and establish a network of experts to promote solidarity and shared responsibility within the OIC community. The initiative will support a variety of fields, including biomedical engineering and health, renewable energy, information technology, manufacturing and engineering sciences, agriculture, urbanization, and smart cities. COMSTECH aims to foster a collaborative environment that enhances the technical proficiency and innovation capacity of OIC member states through this comprehensive program.
