Makkah: 55,642 Pakistani Hajj pilgrims have landed in Saudi Arabia so far via 244 flights. Talking to Radio Pakistan Correspondent Abdul Rehman Cheema in Makkah, Religious Affairs’ Ministry spokesperson Muhammad Umar Butt said 4,558 more pilgrims are scheduled to arrive today through 19 flights. He said the Hajj flight operation will continue till 31st of this month.
According to Radio Pakistan, preparations for accommodating pilgrims in Mina and Arafat are in full swing. The spokesperson said the Guests of Allah are being served with high-quality meals in both Makkah and Madinah. To a question, Umar Butt said all pilgrims have been given residence in Markaziya, near Masjid-e-Nabawi (SAWW). While in Makkah, they have been accommodated in the areas of Aziziyah, Batha Quraish, and Naseem.
He highlighted that Minister for Religious Affairs Sardar Muhammad Yousaf is expected to visit Saudi Arabia soon to review the ongoing Hajj arrangements. He is also expected to hold meetings with Saudi officials in this regard. It is pertinent to mention here that Radio Pakistan is bringing regular updates regarding the Hajj operation and the well-being of Pakistani pilgrims in Saudi Arabia.
