50th Grand Hajj Symposium Focuses on Pilgrim Services and Heat Management

Jeddah: The 50th Grand Hajj Symposium took place in Jeddah, focusing on new initiatives to enhance the services provided to pilgrims and strategies to manage extreme heat conditions.

According to Radio Pakistan, the event was attended by notable figures including the Minister for Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony, Sardar Muhammad Yousaf. The symposium gathered religious affairs ministers and heads of Hajj missions from across the globe, emphasizing international collaboration.

Saudi Arabia's Minister for Hajj and Umrah welcomed the attendees and reiterated the government's commitment to offering superior facilities to pilgrims. He highlighted the comprehensive measures that have been implemented to safeguard pilgrims against extreme heat, underscoring the importance of their safety and comfort during the pilgrimage.

The symposium also addressed digital reforms designed to efficiently manage the movement of pilgrims within the holy sites, showcasing advancements in technology to improve the overall Hajj experience.
