Punjab Chief Minister Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi says 513 new hybrid buses will run in provincial metropolis.

Chairing a meeting in Lahore on Sunday, the Chief Minister also gave approval for procurement of three hundred hybrid buses in first phase.

The meeting also gave approval of auction policy of Punjab Mass Transit Authority.

Cold and dry weather likely to prevail over most parts of the country while very cold in Gilgit-Baltistan and north Balochistan during the next twelve hours.

Temperatures of some major cities recorded this morning:

Islamabad and Murree four degree centigrade, Lahore ten, Karachi fifteen, Peshawar and Muzaffarabad six, Quetta zero and Gilgit minus two degree centigrade.

According to Met Office forecast for Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, partly cloudy and very cold weather is expected in Srinagar, Pulwama, Anantnag, Shopian, Baramulla, Leh, while cold and dry weather in Jammu.

Temperature recorded this morning:

Srinagar, Pulwama and Baramulla minus one degree centigrade, Jammu nine, Leh minus six, Anantnag and Shopian zero degree centigrade.
